VISIONS OF THE FLINT HILLS BENEFIT AND SALE is a juried exhibit featuring art of the Flint Hills. The exhibit will run from October 1, 2010 thru November 20, 2010, in the Buttonwood Art Space (www.buttonwoodartspace.com ), 3013 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri.  Partial proceeds from the event benefit the Kansas Park Trust, a non-profit organization, which promotes the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve and the Flint Hills of Kansas. 

 

JUROR: Karla Stangel Prickett has been a staff member of the Salina Arts & Humanities Commission since 1991. She is the Visual Arts Director for the juried shows and art installations of the Smoky Hill River Festival and Project Coordinator for Salina's Community Art & Design (public art) Program. Karla is a visual artist with a BA from Fort Hays State University. She also formerly taught in the Art Department of Cloud County Community College.
